Thank you for all your prayers. It does seem that since my body systems are now working well (I won't go into any more details on that here) and since my lower back pain is reduced that the main area of trouble is shrinking and this is good news. Praise God.
I am feeling very well under the circumstances. I went for a couple of walks yesterday and enjoyed the warm beautiful day. My appetite is also much improved, and I have been maintaining my weight.
Yesterday, I was encouraged by an email sent to me from a Stage 4 ovarian cancer survivor that I have connected with. (I has been 13 years for her now) She sent me a lovely prayer and told me that her church in Bedford, Nova Scotia is praying for me.
Please continue to pray for a complete healing in all areas.
Love,
Lee Anne
We continue to lift you up in prayer and stand in agreement with you for complete healing. If you come this way pls let us know. Hugs, from our family to yours.
ReplyDeleteLifting you and your family up in prayer. Love you and you're always on my mind every time I think about you I say a prayer.

ReplyDeleteThe Henrys will continue to pray for you each day as you walk this difficult road, please know you do not walk alone. As I type, these words seem so simple in comparison to how you are feeling.
ReplyDeleteI pray that God will keep you in perfect peace and give you full healing in His time. Even the kids are praying as well.
As I read your blog each day I am encouraged by your perspective and thankfulness... it is a reminder to all of us. May God continue to bless you. I'll connect with Nick to see how we can be of practical help.

Hi this is Adrianna, Leonora's sister. I have been thinking about you lots and lots Lee Anne, and I wanted to let you know that although you experience this disease as an individual that you are not alone. There are many loving companions who are walking with you in spirit. I have some prayers and meditation pieces I have written that I would love to share -- they are for the moments of grief, and when we ask the question why but hear no answer. Not that we give up hope, but rather, we experience that silence. I would love to share these prayers with you; how can I do so privately? I'll try to find a way. I've been thinking of you a lot! Remember you are not alone. Sending love yoru way ... Adrianna
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Leeanne !!
ReplyDeleteLeeanne,
ReplyDeleteIt is good to hear your symptoms are showing response to your chemo. Thank you Jesus! Leeanne, in those days when the only thing you can focus on is getting yourself through the day, know there are brothers and sisters in the family of Christ, some whom you have never met, who are lifting you up...in womens's groups, prayer chains, individually in their quiet time with Christ . They are praying for healing for you, peace for Nick and comfort for your children.

Leeanne,
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you are feeling more comfortable and were able to enjoy some outside time yesterday. I will keep you in my prayers and send some warm and positive energy your way. Have a cosy and peaceful weekend.
Leanne,
ReplyDeleteIt's been a long time since we saw each other last (at Runnymede). My prayers are with you and your family.
I don't know if you remember, but I went through chemo almost 20 years ago so I am familiar with the ups and downs of this journey. I pray for unending strength and encouragement for each day, especially the tougher ones.
With Him, all things are possible and He can heal you. Psalm 116 was a great encouragement to me and I pray that as you read it, it will give you strength for this battle, knowing that victory is the Lord's.
With love,
Sandra (Scodellaro)
