9:55pm Lee comfortable and ready for a peaceful nights sleep. Thank you Lord and for all of your prayers.
7:30pm: Doctor has increased the epidural anaesthetic dosage
6:08pm: Lee Anne asks that we pray for the pain to go away.
6:08pm: Lee Anne asks that we pray for the pain to go away.
4:30pm: Lee is finally in her room. It took longer to get from recovery and the ward is busy. She is very sleepy but spoke a couple of sentences, ate a few spoonfuls of ice chips and had a sip of water. A pastor from church came to pray for us and chat with me for a little while.
12:40pm: The doctor just came down and said that she was very pleased. She was happy and smiley and used the words "great results". Praise God that she was able to remove all the remaining cancer in Lee's abdomen (which isn't always the case). Lee will likely be in the hospital for the next 4-5 days. It's going to be many months until she'll be completely recovered though. She's sleeping now and I'm waiting to see her.
11:45am: Lee's out of surgery now. Waiting to go to the recovery room where she'll be for 2 hours. Praise God!

10:02am Lee should be out before midday according to the waiting room volunteer.
9:09am: Angels in the operating room. What confidence we have knowing that He will command his angels concerning Lee, guarding her in all her ways. Psalm 91:11. How the angel of the Lord encamps around her, for she fears Him and He delivers her. Psalm 34:7
8:30am: Waiting and remembering Psalm 112:6-8 from yesterday, just have no fear and trust in the Lord. Righteous from Christ's death on the cross for us, saved by His grace. Waiting to hear the miraculous news
Psalm 112:6-8. Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.
7:45am: Lee dressed in the hospital gown and chatting to another patient. All prepped and ready. Another friend of a friend who works at the hospital (who we sold our last home to), comes down and prays for Lee. After the gurney ride, a kiss and goodbye until after surgery which likely begins around 9am (anaesthetist takes an hour apparently) Truly in Jesus, the great physician's, hands now.
6:30am: Receiving texts and emails of encouragement from the early risers. God is with us, lighting up the sky to show us that He is with us
6:08am: Waiting at surgical services reception, after a brisk and refreshing walk to the hospital from another friend of a friend who offered her driveway as a parking spot just across the street from the hospital
5:30am: Chatting with family friends who opened up their home so we didn't have to take the long early drive from Brooklin
4:55am: Awake and getting ready. We both slept well. Thank you for your prayers for a restful night
7:30pm last night: At a prayer group, declaring the promises of God. Cancer mountain be gone in Jesus name and we believe it to be true
Mark 11:23-26: “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
